Unidentified Aerial Phenomena sightings over Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. Sightings of UFOs also occurred in Canada, China, Israel, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Lt. Col. Wendelle C. Stevens Best Known UFO Researcher Has Died
UFO research pioneer, Wendelle Stevens (87) passed away on September 7, 2010, at his home in Tucson, Arizona of respiratory failure.
Lt. Colonel (USAF Ret.) Wendelle C. Stevens was born in 1923 in Round Prairie, Minnesota and joined the US Army in 1941. He transferred to the Air Corps in1942 and became a pilot. He alternated his career between pilot and Air Technical Service assignments with the Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) at Wright Field. ATIC is where the Blue Book Office for the study of UFOs was located. In 1947, he was assigned to Alaska where data collecting equipment onboard B-29s were detecting UFOs. He became interested in the subject and started his collection of UFO photographs. Col. Stevens amassed one of the largest collections of UFO photographs in the world. He had given me permission to use some in my files and at the Air Victory Museum. He served as US Air Attach in South America and retired from the USAF in 1963. He spent much of his adult life actively investigating UFO cases despite harassment by the government. In December 1997, he received an award for lifetime achievement at the First World UFO Forum in Brazilia, the capital of Brazil.
Wendelle Stevens was the Director of Investigations for the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) in Tucson, Arizona. He investigated numerous contact cases, such as the Billy Meier case in Switzerland. He published more than 22 books concerning UFOs, and was a founder and Director of the International UFO Congress. He recently transferred his extensive photo collection, and library to Open Minds Production. Wendelle was a great man, and I personally will miss his great smile and in depth knowledge of UFOs. Travel between Stars Takes Several Weeks
Most scientists believe the reason UFOs cannot be here is because of the great distance between star systems. NASA scientist Paul Hill in his book "Unconventional Flying Objects" provides the mathematical formulas to show that the travel time between planets in various solar systems for the occupants is less time than it took our ancestors to reach America.
Although the apparent time is longer, the equations have been checked by the Langley Research Center and interstellar mission profiles can take only weeks or a few months. For example, Paul Hill states, "It is possible for an interstellar trip to be very short. The trip from our nearest neighbor, Alpha Centuri, a triple star system 4.3 light years away, made by accelerating at 140 g to av/c of 0.9999 is accomplished from a standing start to a standing finish in six weeks, 0.115 year." (P. 272)
Two Asteroids Will Pass the Earth Closer Than the Moon.
Astronomers with the Mount Lemmon Survey in Tucson, Arizona only recently discovered the two asteroids, which will not be visible to the naked eye. They are in different orbits with close passes that will come nearly 11 hours apart on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. While scientists say neither threatens to strike the planet. The smaller asteroid, 2010 RF12 will have a closer pass, at almost 49,000 miles.
Air Traffic Controller Sees Huge Triangle Investigation
Montclair -- Mike Finneran who spent a thirty-year career working for Air Traffic Control in the New York area sent Field Investigator Bill Stephenson this map depicting his sighting. Bill sent me Mike's data. Mike reports, "My wife and I were driving home to Harrison, New Jersey about 1:30 AM, and four miles east of Montclair. I stopped the car we got out and saw a huge object above us hovering at 3000 to 4000 feet "You could park ten 747 aircraft on this huge triangle hovering about ten miles from New York City in the late summer of 1997. It was hovering between the standard ILS approaches to Newark and Teterboro Airport. The craft was sitting in the only position that was safe for the heavy commercial traffic flying into these airports. We could also see three aircraft about three miles in trail of each other on final approach for Runway 22 at Newark Airport not far from the huge black triangle.

The object was completely without noise. In my 30 years of air traffic control and 47 years as pilot, I have never seen an object of that size in the air. My estimate is that it was approximately one mile across. Thanks to Mike Finneran
Ancient Complexes Were Aligned With Celestial Formations
Archaeologists tell us primitive cave dwellers were hunters with few abilities and little sophistication. The question is why were they so interested in the stars? Evidence and ancient texts suggest that extraterrestrial influence has been present since ancient times.
Engineer and author Don Schorn writes, Norman Lockyer, demonstrated in 1894 that ancient complexes were oriented and aligned with astronomical events and/or celestial formations, often correlating with equinox or solstice arrivals. Later scholars such as British professor Sir Frederick Hoyle indicate the ancient megalithic structures; virtually some of the first built in ancient times were arranged according to constellations. Such ancient alignments involved both astronomical and mathematical skills greatly beyond the ability ascribed to the people of its construction era.

Professor Alexander Thom recognized the mathematical use of the Pythagorean Theorem for right angle triangles was employed to establish sighting positions, while recognized the Frederick Hoyle maintained that the builders must have known of the natural phenomenon described as the Precession of the Equinoxes. Such complex alignments demonstrated by these monuments were then used as celestial calculators, or direct sighting aids to predict eclipses, solstices, equinox and other cosmic events. Similarities between construction styles can be seen around the world, yet separated by thousand miles. Editor's Note: The logical conclusion is that some 4,000 years ago when many of these structures were built an intelligence swept around the world building advanced structures to study the heavens. It seems a stretch that primitive beings would be studying the complicated movements of the heavens, from similar structures in several continents. New Grange, Ireland (above) is virtually the oldest structure in Europe, built in the shape of a flying saucer to study the heavens.
Dennis Quaid Wants to Save Your Life
One of the most dangerous places to go to is to a hospital. As a jet pilot Dennis Quaid uses an aviation analogy stating, "Consider the outrage if twenty jet aircraft full of passengers crashed every week. We have those kind of losses in our Hospitals. A landmark 1999 report from the Institute of medicine showed that 100,000 deaths occur each year in US hospitals. The report coupled with a 2007 Centers for Disease Control reports 99,000 die from hospital-acquired infections, led Quaid to deduce that health care harm is in fact the third leading cause of death in the United States. When Doctor's went on strike in Canada, the death rate dropped dramatically. The facts are many mistakes occur and hospitals are not required to publicly report errors, and caregivers often conceal their mistakes to avoid malpractice suits. Dennis Quaid got interested in the problem when his twelve- day- old baby twins almost died after receiving a 10,000-unit dose of heparin used to treat adults, instead of similarly packaged Hep-Lock for infants.
The Quaid's settled with the hospital when Cedars-Sinai Hospital agreed to spend millions on electronic record keeping, scans on wristbands to match scans on medications, bar coding, computerized physician-order entry systems to improve patient safety. "There is a reason that flying on a commercial airliner today is safer than walking. Quaid explains. "It's because when an accident happens, the NTSB makes a determination about what happened. Airline executives know they need to solve the problem quickly whether it's a change in design or a new piece of technology, or people aren't going to fly their airline. Alabama Black Spot
Birmingham -- John Jaeger writes, "I was driving home on I-20 and took a picture of a new street light that had an interesting design and saw the black spot on the right of the light. It was not there when I took the picture. It also wasn't there when I took several other pictures after this one.
I enlarged the mage and it has a rectangular shape to it. What do you think?

Arizona Red Lights
Maricopa -- On September 3, 2010, I decided to go to Wal-Mart driving on Route 238 approaching Shea Way I saw in a knife-edge position, traveling at an extreme high rate of speed, a large black V' shape craft. It had five white lights, one in the middle and two lights on each wing. It appeared to have taken off from a field near Route 238. As the craft rolled over to a horizontal position, I saw the lights flash then the craft made a hard right turn and disappeared over the horizon.
I drove down Route 238 to the high side of the road and again in a knife-edge position traveling northeast at a high rate of speed was the craft. It appears to have just taken off and the lights flashed again as it rolled horizontal. It headed out to the mountains, and returns making a flyby photo. It passes over and heads south back to the mountains. It circles and lands in a field near the farm complex. I wait for about an hour watching for it to take off again but it never did.
The craft was V' shaped black and non-reflective taper wing design with flashing lights on each wing. It was extremely fast with no sound, and highly maneuverable. Other than the possible knife-edge take offs and tight turns it flew pretty much like any other aircraft. It had the longest wingspan of any aircraft I have even seen. Thanks to MUFON CMS
California Cloud
LOS ANGELES -- I was driving north on the 110 Freeway on August 18, 2010, when I noticed a huge circular disc-shaped cloud very low over downtown LA. The strange thing was, there was not a single other cloud in the sky...typical alien mistake if you ask me, they are as imperfect as us with just fancier aircraft. It may be a cloud cloaked UFO. I knew what I was looking at immediately when I saw it. Although I was driving, I reached into the back seat, grabbed my digital camera and snapped these pictures through the front window of my jeep. I took pictures and the closer you look the more it looks like a disc! The cloud cloaked UFO did not move at all. OAKDALE -- At 10:47 PM on August 16, 2010, I was on a business trip and videotaped something out of this world on my Blackberry Camera Phone.
The video is great and the audio is even more mind blowing with all the witnesses that were around us. I was in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot facing east toward Yosemite.
Note: I have viewed the video and agree with the witness that the light is an unknown. The entire video shows two lights hover, move left, move right, and then eventually ascend. This behavior eliminates balloons or airplanes as a cause. The microphone did not pick up any sound.

Colorado Triangle
Loveland -- On September 3, 2010, I went to the back porch for a smoke and looking up I saw something unusual. I noticed lights moving at a great speed that at first thought was satellite, but it was too fast. There were four lights on each side making a triangle, but it might have been three with two in back. Then I had to call my wife, but I knew she would not believe me. Delaware Multiple Witnesses of Two Flying Disks
Newark -- While driving to the Christiana Mall on August 29, 2010, I noticed two metallic disks flying rather close to one another at 3:30 PM. They were silent and moved slightly sporadically. The disks were spinning, but not on a perfect axis. They were not coordinated, but were moving closer and they flew higher extremely fast. I was able to keep an eye on the objects the whole time until I had to travel below an overpass and I lost sight of the objects. Florida Lights
PLANTATION -- On August 29, 2010, I was thinking it would be peaceful to see a UFO right now, so I looked west and one appeared. Since seeing these objects I was at first afraid, but have accepted that they have been there since before I became 'aware'. I have found myself asking to see them when I have had a bad day or would just like some comfort. Either way they show up. Sometimes they will come very close and stop their ship. If I become afraid, they will move further away. At first, it was far away but came closer. Occasionally when I see them and more so, when I am asking to observe one, the lights in my vicinity will dim momentary. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Illinois Descending
CHICAGO -- On August 26, 2010, at 9:03 PM, I noticed a bright star below the moon that was descending and becoming very large bright white and began to slow its descent. At this point, the object got very large and stopped descending. It was at a bright magnitude I have never witnessed before. I called for my wife who came out and we continued to observe the object as it suddenly got very bright and moved northeast rapidly.
When she joined me at the sliding glass door, I pointed out the object and she said, "You mean that star. It moved away from us rapidly and then disappeared into the sky in that same direction. In the two years, I have been observing the night sky and passage of commercial planes I have never witnessed anything like this before. The object was round and moved like nothing I had ever seen before. There were no blinking lights on the object like on commercial craft that fly overhead constantly. Indiana Creature
Description: Lafayette -- On August 29, 2010, at close range I saw some sort of creature the size of a very large dog floating slowly straight up at 2:10 AM, directly over the traffic light. It was a grayish blue color. A man and a little boy walked from the entrance of the hospital where I work, out to the road to get a closer look. I turned my car around and went back, but it was gone. I have been noticing a large bright light in the sky that does not behave like a star or planet. It was present, very close and very bright on this night and had many, many tiny green lights flying high in the sky.
Note: It is doubtful that the bright light is related to the creature sighting. The bright light probably is a celestial object given that it was seen on successive nights. Anyone who witnessed this sighting is urged to file a report. William Puckett, Director http://www.ufosnw.com
Massachusetts Triangle
Plymouth -- On August 29, 2010, at 9 PM, driving east on Route 44 coming up on Esta Road I saw an object hovering about 20 feet above the treetops, and only ten feet away from the road near a pond. At first, I thought it was a helicopter, but as I drove closer, I realized that it was a triangle. Driving under it, I noticed the triangle pattern of lights that were hovering and made no noise. Northampton -- While performing maintenance on my vehicle in my driveway just before 1 PM, I raised my head and noticed three perfect white spheres high to the northwest. Within moments, my father came by and he saw the spheres. A perfect red sphere arrived and started circling the first much larger white sphere. It seemed to disappear and re-appear with rapid motion inside the first white sphere!
The whole encounter lasted about twenty minutes and gave me the time to run in and retrieve my 10X50 Tasco binoculars and observe. Not long after I lost all four in the tree line. The sky was almost cloudless, with the sun to my back. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Nebraska B-2 and UFOs
Omaha -- I attended the Air Show on Offutt Air Force Base on August 28, 2010, and I used a Nikon Digital Camera to take pictures of the surprise appearance of a Stealth bomber. I did not see the two unknowns until I downloaded the pictures from the camera to the computer. There is a third oddity on the right hand side of the picture and I had many of these dark blotches in different pictures always at roof line level or higher, some with other definitions indicating structure, possible legs, power source. New Jersey Triangle
Malaga -- I interviewed the three witnesses in reference to multiple sightings. On July 30, 2010, a female 40 years old and her son observed what they first believed to be a C-5 fly over them on Blackwood Road. It was getting dark when just above the tree line they realized the silent craft had no green and red navigation lights. Next, they observed three bluish white lights and a triangular shape. Suddenly two F-16 fighters appeared on the scene and the unknown craft just seemed to evaporate from view.
This came from a family with a military background who are sure of what they observed. They pulled into the Comcast lot and attempted to take pictures but nothing was on the film when it was developed. They both viewed Filers Files # 36 2010, and identified the triangular shaped craft as very similar to what they observed.
The other brother has observed a round silver craft above the tree lines. He never felt threatened or upset over these sightings. He has no idea what they are or where they came from except they are not military. The craft resemble the craft in Filers Files #25. Examination of the sky revealed it was clear, no object's of any type was observed. This investigator will maintain contact with the family and help them through this experience. New York Rectangle
ARDSLEY -- On August 28, 2010, at 8:30 PM, my husband and I observed seven separate lights in an almost symmetrical formation that then the lights began to rotate. The lights almost took the form of the constellation Ursa Minor or Major. Then the lights began to fade and disappear one by one. We headed to our friend's house a few blocks away and as we turned the corner, a car stopped in the road with the doors open. Teens were outside and were on a cell phone and I could hear the driver telling her Mother that she saw something. I rolled down my window and asked if they had seen the lights too and they excitedly said, "The seven of us saw the lights. North Carolina Black Triangles
I was in front yard around 6:45 p.m. and heard an aircraft pass over and glanced up and observed a small single prop plane proceeding east, above was a glint of sunlight
that caught my attention. It shone brilliantly in the sunlight like polished aluminum. It was proceeding westward at a stately pace. Then I realized that there was something unusual about this aircraft... it seemed to have no visible wings or stabilizer. I again looked up and I was unable to discern any wings or stabilizing structures. It was a silent cigar tubular configuration with brilliant reflective surface that flew at a leisurely clip. Ohio Red Light Flew Like a Fly
COLUMBUS -- On August 30, 2010, my family and I were standing outside of my house at around 8:30 PM, looking for the space station but we couldn't see anything so everyone went inside except for me. All of a sudden, I saw this star-like light in the sky shooting up from the horizon. The light is flickering in a reddish-orange color, and every now and then, there will be tiny white flashes of light that appear around it and then vanish. My dad came out and we stood there watching it move up higher into the sky. Then we realized it was moving in a really odd pattern, and was not the space station.
It was buzzing around, flying back and forth and all around us. After watching it move like this for 15 minutes, we concluded that it couldn't be the space station. It kept climbing until it was straight up in the middle of the sky, and then it just stopped. It would fly back and forth every now and then, but generally stays in the same area. A friend also witnessed the UFO. When I went back outside, it had moved a little to the north and remained in the same area for almost two hours. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Pennsylvania Disk a Row of Lights
Spring Grove -- On August 18, 2010, my stepdad and I went out on the porch at 10 PM, and noticed a bright orb in the sky that was closer and brighter than the other stars. We got my telescope out to take a better look. We both saw a row of four lights that were diagonally lined up and they would brighten and fade out until they disappeared. Blairsville -- On September 3, 2010, I got home from work, and I saw a missile/cigar like object above me. I was unsure of what it was so I decided to take a picture. The object was traveling away from me in a diagonal line. I did not look like anything I have ever seen before. It then hit me that possibly it was a UFO. Thanks to MUFON CMS
South Carolina Black Triangles
My roommate and I were on our way back home on Greenville County Road 137 on July 7, 2010, when I yelled to my friend "Look at that! We were both hanging out of my truck looking at a very large, flat black, triangular aircraft larger than a Boeing 757bwith three constant orange/yellow lights on each point and one strobing red light in the center. The object was traveling very slowly and silently as it flew past the tree line, and we could see a smaller equilateral shaped craft following a short distance behind. It was about the size of an F-117 stealth craft. It flew over us heading SSW toward Greenville Airport or possibly Donaldson Center (formerly Donaldson Air Force Base) which is also the home of Lockheed Martin. South Dakota Huge Triangle Shape Ufo
HUDSON -- On August 25, 2010, at 9:03 PM, this is the first ufo, I have ever seen it has one huge bright light with two smaller lights to the left and one smaller one to the right. I have been trying to take pictures but it is too far away. I got some binoculars, and saw the whole thing. I do not know if anybody else saw it as clear but it looks huge. I cannot believe it. It is happening now and has been there for about 30 minutes. It has moved a long way but is still in the night's sky. Texas Lights
Houston -- On August 28, 2010, I saw three objects appearing as circular, white orbs in triangle formation over Northwest Houston at 3:30 PM. They were high in the northeast sky about 3 PM. The objects moved slowly in the same formation to slightly south of overhead and then to high Northeast sky before disappearing.
Note: These objects were not weather balloons since only one balloon is launched at 7 PM. The objects could have been another type of balloon given the description of movement and the photo.
Virginia V' Formation
VIRGINIA BEACH -- I took these shots on September 5, 2010, and I know they may look like birds, but they were not, and while i was taking these there was a lot of spraying going on as to cover them. What do you think? Thanks to Dean
Washington Triangle Update
KENT -- At about 1 AM, on August 11, 2010, I got out of my truck at work and glanced at an aircraft flying north overhead at a low altitude. At first, I thought it was a commercial jet, but I realized that there was something unusual about it. There was no sound and the lights were different from any plane. There were three glowing amber lights in a triangle formation and one glowing amber light between the two rear amber lights.
The UFO had two bright white strobe lights down the middle of the triangle at opposing ends and travelled north at a steady pace until it faded in the distance in about ten seconds. Canada Flying Objects
Oshawa, Ontario -- On Sunday, August 29, 2010, at 4:54 PM while at home in I was tending to a BBQ on the deck. I stopped and noticed something strange in the sky directly west. I could see a round translucent object with a light. I instantly grabbed my camera and took two pictures and two more pictures with a 5X zoom. All four pictures were taken at 4:53 PM, with my Canon SD890 IS 10 MP digital camera. There is photographic evidence of a silver disk shaped object with a bright light on top. It was moving west as I lost sight after about 35 seconds while filming.

Tracadie Sheila -- We first saw it as a planet on August 23, 2010, at 10:10 PM, and then it started moving south, passed behind some treetops in front of us, and then headed west. It was approximately the size of my girlfriend's small fingernail held at arm's length. It was bright orange, and then faded to red before disappearing completely. China UFO
Haiyan County -- A bright, unidentified flying object that was visible for at least three hours slowly moving to the west over the skies in southwestern of eastern China's Zhejiang Province on August 31, 2010.
The unidentified flying object that constantly twinkled was not at a high altitude and was much larger and brighter than stars around it. Many people witnessed the UFO at the scene that evening. "I have no idea what it is," a witness said.
The reporter found that not only was the object itself very bright in the sky, but its reflection on the river was also very eye-catching. Many residents in Haiyan County witnessed it and one said, "It looked quite big and it seemed that it was moving." Another bright, flickering dot appeared above the object flying toward Haining City.
Two reporters from Hainan's local TV station followed the twinkling object in a car moving toward Haining City and took relatively clear pictures of a round object that had shiny blue lights, and several other flickering objects around it. Later the reporters found that the round object had become rectangular and gradually flew higher and disappeared at 10 pm, three hours after its first appearance. Israel. White Sphere About 120' Across
South Negev Desert -- On August 26, 2010, I was looking for a map of a place where I found an artifact in Israel back in 1982. I was searching the south Negev Desert on Google Earth, at the coordinates 2946'6.28 North and 3458'40 East. I found a white sphere about 120' across, several hundred to thousands of feet in the air. The object appeared white, spherical, and has a distinct shadow below it. I would very much appreciate someone going to those coordinates and telling me what they think this object is. South Africa Light
PRETORIA -- On August 21, 2010, at 8:55 PM, I was driving down the road in the Waverley area and saw about twelve orangered lights moving very slowly in the sky. A smaller light came out of some of the bigger lights. After a few minutes of moving slowly across the sky, they started blinking on and off and then they just vanished. Sweden Triangle of Lights Not Bright.
Stockholm -- On September 4, 2010, about 10 PM, at night between Gullmarsplan and Skrmanbrink there appeared in the distance was not an aircraft or helicopters. It was moving forward very silently much lower than the normal planes. It was two or more times larger than an airplane at that height. I could see it had a tail, but no lights and was very dark. The front was a perfect triangle filled with large round lights, not very bright. The course was regular and slow. However, when they reached a place where there were clouds it rotated and I could see the perfect triangular shape as they flew into the space. Find this happens rarely in the middle of Stockholm. Switzerland Lights
Basel -- On August 21, 2010, three other people and I witnessed a formation of between three and five bright objects. I was walking the dog when I saw four intensely bright white objects high in the southern sky that at first I thought was an aircraft. The four objects remained almost motionless, until I witnessed a smaller and less bright object drop away from one of the objects.
After five minutes of viewing, I went into my house and asked my girlfriend to come outside with me, and to bring a camera. We watched three objects for ten more minutes before going inside to look for another camera with a telephoto lens. The objects moved slowly and were hard to see against the brightness of the clear summer sky. It often faded into the blue background and then returned with intensity in a new location making it difficult to judge their exact location. The objects moved closer to each other over time, one after the other. Two passing strangers confirmed they could also see the objects. My girlfriend and I went inside to look for my telephoto lens. BELFAST -- Driving home from a concert nearing 11 pm, on April 30, 2010, my friend and I noticed an orange light moving parallel to our car no more than 800 feet off the ground travelling about 35 miles per hour. The ball the size of a small car travelled along the Old Belfast Road, parallel to our direction so we decided to pursue. We tried to record it on his mobile phone but no avail. We followed it until we arrived at a car park where we stopped and jumped out but the object continued on it's way - faded to black. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Rhiwbina -- Jane McCarthy has travelled the length and breadth of Britain chasing UFOs and sniffing out spooks. She boasts 30 years experience in the field of work she shares with her husband Chris. "I got into looking into UFOs by accident because I've seen them, said Jane, of Heol Llanishen Fach. "It all started when we came back to live in the family home late one night we saw lights in the shape of a triangle. "Neither of us have any recollection of going to bed that night. I remember waking up on top of the bed and I couldn't move -- it was a very strange night for both of us.
Chris claimed the couple's next unexplained sighting, when a "pulsating light in the shape of a vacuum cleaner bag was spotted above Cardiff Bay. Interest in UFOs in South Wales has heightened in recent weeks with the release of secret documents revealing how an oblong light from a mysterious object 100 foot wide craft was spotted in the skies in November 1996.
In May 2004, the couple spotted a tanker-shaped UFO floating above Abercynon from their lookout in Pontypridd. "There was a report out in October that same year of a pilot who saw what he described as a really large tanker, said Jane. "Apparently, 15 people got out of their cars to see it.
